I have many years’ experience as a dancer, actor, singer and choreographer. I have worked with many different people in many different walks of life and, as such, you will be completely safe in my hands.  

About You

I have only one question for you: can you count to eight? If the answer is “yes”, then I can certainly teach you to dance.

Your Wedding Day is one of the most important and special occasions of your life! Once you’ve tied the knot during the formal part of the day, why not “wow” your family and friends with a tightly choreographed first dance in the evening?

From the comfort of your own home, or at the wedding venue (if allowed), I will take you through your very own dance routine, set to your favourite song. Regardless of genre, the choreography will be tailored specifically to your expectations and capabilities. You may even wish to include others in your choreographed routine – for example, best man/bridesmaids, parents, etc. It would require a larger rehearsal space, but it could certainly be done if this is something couples are interested in. 

For the Bride and Groom, I recommend that three sessions are all you will need, although more can be arranged if required.

Session One (Approximately 6 weeks prior to the day) will be you and I getting to know each other. There will be no music, but I can promise you a lot of fun and laughter while we work together on the outline of your routine. 

Session Two (Approximately 4 weeks prior to the day) will be building your routine in small manageable chunks using your song. We will work on your confidence, holding your head high and ultimately moving around the dance floor with ease. At the end of Session Two, I shall hand over some written notes and video both of you doing the routine so that you can practice on your own, either together or independently, in the lead up to Session Three. 

Session Three (Approximately 1 or 2 weeks prior to the day) is designed for “polishing” the routine. It’s at this point, it would be useful to be able to work on the dance floor at your venue. It is also at this point, I strongly recommend you wear the shoes you will be wearing on your special day.
